Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.

Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

Through years of love and caring
Your heart and soul we shared
A moment of life's blessings
Are miracles compared
In meadows filled with dew drops
That cling to soft sweet earth
Remembrances we treasure
Since moment of your birth
Our eyes now on the sparrow
As gently now in flight
Your spirit always with us
Your soul in heaven's light
How proud we were to have you
How sweet like gentle rain
The memory of your tenderness
Forever shall remain
Our hearts are sad and broken
By how you left his life
Our dreams for you now gathered
In thoughts of endless strife
But in our hearts remembered
Our child that we held dear
Each day in life now passing
Will always bring a tear
For those on earth who witnessed
The beauty that was there
A moment now in silence
In never ending prayer
That you are in a special place
Where love and flowers bloom
With Angels tending garden
With scents of sweet perfume
And now you are a witness
To love in life you gave
Each moment now a treasure
Upon this life we save
So walk among the flowers
Fly on golden wing
Watching us with tenderness
As breezes softly sing.

Always Precious Memories
You will think of Courtney in silence,
you will often speak her name.
All you have are her memories
and a picture in a frame.
You will hold Courtney close within your hearts
and there she will remain
To walk with you past tiny tombstones
until you find her name.
So many times you needed her
so many times you've cried.
If LOVE could have saved her,
She never would have died.
There will always be heartache
and a silent tear.
But always precious memories
of days when Courtney was here.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane.
You would walk the path of Heaven
and bring Courtney home again.
Your family chain is broken
Nothing seems the same,
But as GOD calls us one by one
the chain will link again.
Courtney is forever in your Hearts and Soul!
With Love, Virginia

Why?
Over and over and over again
we ask ourselves why
why did it have to happen
the way it did that night
So many of us would trade with you
gladly go in your place
so that the rest of us
could see your smiling face
for whatever reason
that seems to make no sense
we cannot change places with you
we can't make that pretense
Many of us are old and grown
we lived our lives so full
and you had not begun to live
and now you never will
Dear God why do bad things happen
to good people such as her?
Help us understand why
we can't have things the way they were
Parts of us will not let go
of the way things used to be
Parts of us are stubborn
and Courtney's all we want to see
Yet you let her be taken
with no reason nor rhyme
left all of us here wondering
why she was taken before her time
Have faith we're told,
try to be strong
yet tell us how we can be
when her death was just so wrong?
All we've left now are memories
and pictures, but its not the same
Dear God can't you turn back the hands of time
And Bring Courtney home again?
A Child Loaned:
"I'll lend you for a little time
A child of Mine." He said.
"For you to love the while he lives
And mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven year
Or twenty-two or three
But will you, till I call him back
Take care of him for Me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you
And should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay
Since all from Earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want the child to learn.
I've looked this wide world over
In my search for teacher's true,
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you;
Now will you give him all your love,
Nor think the labour vain
Nor hate Me when I come to call
And take him back again?
I fancied that I heard them say,
"Dear Lord, They will be done,
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
For the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand.

Touched by an Angel
I know I didnt know you
but your death struck everyone I knew
Then I saw the memorial on 4th street
and I couldn't believe it to be true
All I know is that you're beautiful
even now after you've gone
I know friends and family are crying
For you, they'll forever mourn
I dont know who those girls are
but I know one thing for sure
Justice will come, and paybacks a bitch
bad Karma has no cure
I saw your face in the newspaper
such a beautiful girl
You should still be here enjoying your life
With friends & Family in this world
Once again, I know I dont know you
not from a hole in the wall
But your story really touched me
Real tears fell, I wanted to ball
To your friends and Family
I have one thing to say
I'm so sorry for the loss in your lives
But in heaven you'll see her again someday
GodBless you Courtney Sau
Justice will Take its place
